Our group at the UT Faculty of Medicine Scientific Conference 2025
The annual scientific conference of the University of Tartu Faculty of Medicine brings together not only medical doctors but also researchers from diverse fields whose work is connected to medicine. This year, our group was proudly represented by Darja, whose oral presentation “Immuunkontrollpunkti inhibiitorid mõjutavad keemiaravimite tsütotoksilist toimet pea- ja kaelapiirkonna vähi rakuliinides” (“Immune checkpoint inhibitors affect the cytotoxic effect of chemotherapeutic drugs in head and neck cancer cell lines”) received first prize in the category of doctors, resident physicians, and scientists. Anni’s poster “Geneetiliste mutatsioonide uurimine G-valguga seotud retseptorites” (“Investigation of genetic mutations in G protein-coupled receptors”) earned an honourable mention in the same category.
