Science magic at Tartu lasteaed TÄHTVERE
This week we had the joy of bringing a touch of chemistry to a kindergarten birthday party and it turned out to be pure magic. Tõnis and Anni set up a small “science corner” filled with simple, colorful experiments designed to spark curiosity. From bubbling reactions to homemade lava lamps, every demonstration was met with wide eyes, excited squeals, and an endless stream of questions.
What stood out most was how engaged children were. Even at such a young age, they were ready to observe, guess, and learn. Some children carefully described what they saw, while others excitedly predicted the next step. It was a beautiful reminder that curiosity truly starts early. By the end of the demonstration, their excitement hadn’t faded and many were eager to try pipetting themselves.
