Celebrating Our Students’ Thesis defences

This summer marks an important milestone for our students, as they successfully defended their theses:

  • Yelyzaveta Gushchyna – master thesis “Establishing Phosphorylated Human Protein Kinase N3 Generation via PDPK1 Co-expression in Sf9 cells”
  • Kätlin Ots – bachelor’s thesis titled “Live-cell microscopy-based method for describing dopamine D2 receptor and ligand interactions”
  • Elo Joandi – bachelor’s thesis titled “Fluorescent conformational biosensor on baculovirus nanoparticles: a novel method for serotonin receptor ligand screening”
  • Roosi Riin Leht – bachelor’s thesis titled “Application of the nLightG biosensor in a baculovirus display system for pharmacological characterization of adrenergic ligands”

Throughout their studies, they have demonstrated curiosity, dedication, and the ability to tackle complex scientific questions. From their first experiments to independent research projects, each of them has grown into a confident young researcher.

Congratulations to you all!
