The RoboBioChemist team has great news!
| Our student engineering project RoboBioChemist has received funding from EIS in the total amount of €99,451.40. The project is funded from the state budget through research and development funding instruments, and the project activities are already well underway! Our goal is to build a digital microfluidics system, or a RoboBiochemist, and to start programming the movement of liquid droplets. It will make it possible to automatically mix and run a wide range of biochemical experiments – for example, studying drug interactions with their targets or enzyme activity. And all of this can be done around the clock, whether we are attending lectures, enjoying our free time, or sleeping! Link to the project’s homepage: RoboBioChemist |
